Mark Manis: Special Education Teacher. Mark enjoys poetry writing, science fiction in all it's forms, cheering on UK basketball team, Reds, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns.
Becky Manis: She enjoys crafts, gardening, making & updating home pages, cheering on Cleveland Indians, Browns, UK.
Butterscotch & Thumper Manis: Our two adorable kids who happen to be felines. See their bio's under "our kids".
How we met...
Via the internet. While visiting a IRC chat room called Zig's Place, we met late Nov 1996, chatted every evening online, by spring of 1997 we met in person in Columbus, Ohio (half way for both of us to travel) by fall of 1997 we were engaged and starting planning our wedding which was October 3, 1998.

6-04-04 We have a new family member. See "Our Kids Page"
Sadly on May 21st 2004, Dad Manis lost his battle with cancer.
On 3-02-04 at 1 p.m. our dear Butterscotch went to Rainbow Bridge. He died of feline leukemia complications that brought themselves known a few days prior. He is sadly missed.
Mark is an author. There was an article about the book published in our local newspaper. 2/26/04

Big excitement here in Grant County was Rodger Bingham being a contestant on Survivor 2.
We wore T-shirts in support of Rodger. He played the game well and came in 5th place. :)
